The latest purchase brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 847,363 BTC, valued at approximately $54.8 billion based on current market prices. The company’s average acquisition cost now stands at $75,651 per coin, with total spending exceeding $64 billion including fees and expenses.

MSTR Share Sales Fund Latest Bitcoin Purchase

The company confirmed the acquisition was funded through sales of Class A common stock under its ongoing at-the-market offering program. During the past week, more than 2.7 million MSTR shares were sold, generating roughly $335.5 million in proceeds.

Strategy also disclosed that over $25 billion in authorized MSTR shares remain available for future issuance. The company recently expanded its capital-raising programs to include additional preferred stock offerings tied to its Bitcoin strategy.

USD Reserve Grows Despite STRC Weakness

Alongside the Bitcoin purchase, Strategy increased its USD reserve to $1.4 billion from $1.1 billion a week earlier. Meanwhile, its STRC preferred shares have struggled below par value in recent weeks, raising concerns among investors about market demand and dividend sustainability.
