Strategy has moved back into unrealized profit on its Bitcoin holdings, gaining roughly $1.4 billion as the btc climbed nearly 24% over five straight days. The company’s stock jumped 10% in Friday pre-market trading to $120, its highest level in two months.
Turning a Corner After Months of Losses
Strategy holds 840,447 BTC at an average purchase price of $75,385, now just above Bitcoin’s current price near $78,000.

The company had faced steep unrealized losses for much of the year as Bitcoin fell more than 50% from its October peak, with losses reaching about $13 billion when the price dropped to $58,000 in July. During that stretch, Strategy sold roughly 6,916 BTC while building its cash reserve to $4.8 billion, enough to cover 2.8 years of dividend obligations.

Preferred Stock Also Recovering
Strategy has been working to restore its preferred stock, STRC, to its $100 par value, repurchasing about $347 million over the past month. STRC now trades at $95.62, up 35% from its June low, aided by a broader recovery across digital credit markets.
