Strategy’s STRC Continues Trading Below $90 as Volume Spikes
Strategy’s preferred stock STRC continued trading below the important $90 level as selling pressure and market uncertainty pushed the stock lower for a second straight session. STRC closed at $88.59 after briefly falling to an intraday low of $82.50, marking one of its weakest performances since launching in 2025.

The stock was originally designed to stay close to $100 through a variable dividend structure that currently offers a yield of around 12.9%. Strategy also uses the program to issue additional shares and purchase bitcoin when market conditions are favorable.
Trading Volume Jumps as Market Watches Strategy
Trading activity increased sharply, with nearly 10.7 million shares changing hands during the session. Average daily trading volume for STRC is usually around 3.5 million shares, making Thursday one of the busiest trading days for the stock.

Analysts at TD Cowen maintained a Buy rating on Strategy shares and a $400 price target. The firm said Strategy is increasingly positioning itself as a bitcoin-focused capital markets platform while balancing reserves, dividend obligations and long-term bitcoin growth plans.
