TRON DAO Joins Brazilian Authorities To Discuss Crypto Asset Recovery Efforts

TRON DAO took part in a training forum hosted by Brazil’s Digital Currencies Governance Group and the National Council of the Public Ministry in Brasília, working alongside government agencies to discuss how blockchain data can support digital asset investigations and recovery.

Forum Brings Together Legal And Financial Authorities

The two day event, held on August 26 and 27, gathered more than 100 officials from Brazil’s central bank, public prosecutor offices, federal revenue agency, and national judicial council. Discussions centered on tracing digital assets, understanding new forms of financial crime, and improving methods for investigating and recovering funds linked to illicit blockchain activity.

TRON Representatives Share Technical Insights

TRON DAO sent its community spokesperson and general counsel to participate in expert panels. One session focused on how blockchain transparency helps authorities track transaction movement, while another addressed how public institutions and private companies can work together to freeze, seize, and return misused digital funds. The panel also included legal and blockchain investigation experts from other organizations working directly with law enforcement.

First-Time Engagement With Brazilian Prosecutors

This marked TRON’s initial formal interaction with Brazil’s public prosecutor council, positioning the organization as the only blockchain network represented at the forum. Officials from TRON expressed interest in continuing to support informed regulatory development as Brazil refines its approach to digital asset oversight.
