Trump Accuses Iran of Breaking Ceasefire Agreement, Vows Forceful Response

President Donald Trump has accused Iran of violating an agreement reached with the United States, saying his administration would respond with significant force. Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends,” Trump said much of Iran’s military equipment had already been destroyed, adding that the U.S. struck Iranian targets forcefully overnight.

According to Trump, Iran has continued launching drone strikes despite the agreement, and each attack has been met with a strong military response. He said the pattern of strikes and counterstrikes has continued, framing the U.S. actions as a direct reaction to ongoing provocations from Iran.

Trump referenced a prior understanding reached between the two countries, saying Iran failed to honor its terms. He characterized this as part of a recurring pattern, suggesting Iran has a history of not following through on agreements. As a result, he indicated the U.S. would continue its current course of action.
