U.S. President Donald Trump is set to participate in a G7 working session alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the summit in Evian, France, on June 16. While both leaders will attend the same session, no formal bilateral meeting has been scheduled.
The three-day summit will bring together major world leaders to discuss key international issues, including the ongoing war in Ukraine and growing tensions in the Middle East.
Trump’s Meetings With Global Leaders
On the sidelines of the summit, Trump is expected to hold separate meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and India.
Following the summit, Macron will host Trump for a dinner at the Palace of Versailles. The event is intended to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence and highlight the long-standing relationship between France and the United States.
Leaders are also expected to discuss developments surrounding Iran and the security of the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for global energy shipments.
