Ukraine Received No Warning Before Russian Missile Attack on Kyiv, Zelenskiy Says

Ukraine got no warning from Western partners before Russian ballistic missiles slammed into Kyiv overnight, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Tuesday. Five missiles hit civilian infrastructure in what he called a particularly vile attack, and air raid sirens sounded only after explosions had already rocked the city.

Trump Says Intelligence Sharing Continues

President Donald Trump insisted Washington is still sharing intelligence with Kyiv and working to end the war. His comments follow reports that US officials threatened to cut off intelligence and weapons sales unless Ukraine stops striking Russian refineries. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha confirmed Ukraine still receives American military intelligence and blamed the missing alert on the type of weapon Russia fired.

Ukraine Pauses Refinery Strikes After Ceasefire Announcement

Zelenskiy said Kyiv has not targeted Russian refineries since Trump announced an energy ceasefire on Sunday. Russia avoided energy sites overnight but hit transport and logistics targets, while strikes on Kharkiv killed four people. Most analysts attribute rising fuel prices to the US war in Iran rather than Ukrainian attacks.

Reuters reported Ukraine’s air force is investigating the surveillance failure, while experts warn European allies cannot replace America’s unique space-based early warning system.
