Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, concluding his official engagements in the American capital. He is expected to meet with President Trump early next week, marking the first visit to Washington by a Lebanese president in over 15 years. The visit comes amid ongoing US-backed talks between Lebanon and Israel, following another round of negotiations recently held in Rome.
