US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $197.4 million in net inflows for the week ending Friday, ending an eight-week run of outflows that stretched back to May. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led the gains with $291.9 million coming in, while Grayscale, Fidelity, and ARK’s Bitcoin funds saw money move out over the same period.

Analysts Split on What It Means
Some see the shift as an early sign of returning institutional confidence. Monochrome Asset Management’s Jeff Yew pointed to growing optimism around the CLARITY Act, expected to come up for a vote in August, saying big investors often position themselves ahead of clearer regulation. Others remain cautious. 10x Research’s Markus Thielen noted that Bitcoin has tended to perform better in the first half of each month before flattening out later, and said flows still aren’t strong enough to call a real turnaround.
Numbers Still Small Against Recent Losses
The $197.4 million weekly gain looks minor next to the $8.26 billion pulled from Bitcoin ETFs since mid-May. Views on where Bitcoin goes next are mixed. Real Vision’s Jamie Coutts believes the market is nearing the later stages of its downturn, while Hilbert Capital’s Russell Thompson expects prices could bottom out around October.

Spot Ether ETFs also snapped their own eight week outflow streak, adding $84.42 million in new inflows, though that’s still small compared to the $1.2 billion pulled out since May.
