Bitcoin Shows Improved Buyer Absorption After Binance Records Major BTC Outflow
Bitcoin buyers appear to be absorbing supply more effectively near the $65,000 level, according to new on chain data showing Binance recorded its largest single-day withdrawal of Bitcoin in nearly two years.

Bitcoin buyers appear to be absorbing supply more effectively near the $65,000 level, according to new on chain data showing Binance recorded its largest single-day withdrawal of Bitcoin in nearly two years.
A Notable Shift in Exchange Flows
CryptoQuant reported that Binance saw a net outflow of more than 9,000 BTC on Tuesday, the biggest single-day figure since late 2024. Analysts noted that when large amounts of Bitcoin leave exchanges, it often signals that holders are moving coins into long-term storage rather than preparing to sell, which can ease short-term selling pressure.

Mixed Signals Remain
While the outflow stands out, analysts caution that Binance’s netflows have fluctuated between positive and negative in recent weeks, meaning the trend could still reverse. One analyst noted that a similar pattern combining large outflows with strengthening momentum has historically preceded upward price movement, though he stopped short of predicting a guaranteed outcome.
Not Necessarily a Trend Reversal
Other researchers were more cautious, pointing out that the outflows are occurring while Bitcoin trades in the $65,000 to $66,000 range, suggesting better market absorption compared to previous weak periods. However, they emphasized that negative exchange flows alone don’t confirm a new uptrend, noting that sustained spot demand and a more stable price structure would be needed to support that view.

Broader Market Context
Recent data shows renewed interest through derivatives markets and continued inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs, even as some analysts say a full market rebound still lacks sufficient direct buying demand.
