Brazil’s October 30 Deadline Pushes Binance to Trim Its Local Services While It Waits for a License

Brazil's central bank has set October 30 as the last day for crypto companies already serving the country to submit authorization requests. Firms that meet it can keep operating under a temporary arrangement, but sending the paperwork guarantees nothing, because a decision comes later. Binance has now completed that step. It says the goal is to let Brazilians keep trading stablecoins, making payments and using investment tools without interruption.

What Changes for Binance Users in Brazil

The compromise arrives Tuesday. Customers in the country will lose access to crypto lending and margin trading, along with a few other services switched off to fit the current framework. In addition, 22 tokens are being delisted locally. Holders of those assets should review their portfolios and decide whether to sell or move them before trading ends.

Binance Brazil Leadership Hopes to Restore Products

Thiago Sarandy, the exchange’s general manager in Brazil, said the company supports rules that reflect how virtual assets actually work, so new technology can keep growing. He added that Binance hopes ongoing talks with the central bank will let it bring back some of the discontinued products in the near future.
