Ai.com Still Shows Waitlist Message

The website continues to display a message saying AI agent generation is queued due to high demand. A Crypto.com spokesperson confirmed the platform is still being built, saying it “continues building in stealth mode” and that more details will come at full launch. The February ad promised personal AI agents capable of trading stocks, updating dating profiles, organizing work, sending messages and operating across applications, with claims the agents could even develop new capabilities and share improvements across users.

Rivals Launch Narrower AI Trading Tools

While ai.com remains unfinished, competing exchanges have rolled out more limited AI assistants. Robinhood announced in-app AI agents for automated trading this week. Kraken added AI-powered tools in July to help users find investment opportunities based on their goals. Bitget launched its own trading assistant, GetAgent, in June.

Broader AI Assistants Have Advanced Too

Major AI developers have also expanded what their assistants can do. Anthropic introduced computer use in Claude Cowork in March, and OpenAI followed in July with ChatGPT Work, an agent built to complete multistep tasks across connected apps and files.

Crypto.com’s Other AI Moves

Crypto.com has continued investing in AI elsewhere. In March, it introduced an OpenClaw integration letting customers deploy a personal AI trading agent for trade execution. That same month, the company cut its workforce by about 12%, citing AI integration, and said the move was part of reallocating resources toward key growth areas. In February, Crypto.com also received ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, an international standard covering AI governance and responsible deployment.
