Focus on Payments and Digital Assets

The collaboration will combine Dunamu’s digital asset expertise with Visa’s global payments infrastructure to explore stablecoin-based payments, cross-border money transfers, and AI-driven financial tools, all while aiming to stay compliant with regulatory standards. The companies also plan to connect stablecoins with existing global payment systems.

AI-Driven Commerce a Key Area

On the technology side, the partners intend to explore agentic commerce, where AI systems handle purchasing and payments on behalf of users, an area both companies see as central to the future of finance.

Dunamu noted that the partnership will also evaluate potential use of a dollar backed stablecoin project backed by more than 140 global institutions, though a company representative clarified this is just one of several stablecoins under review, with no final decision made. The announcement follows a similar recent stablecoin related partnership Visa formed with another major South Korean financial institution.
