Grayscale has taken another step into altcoin-based investment products, submitting an S-1 registration statement for what would be the first Worldcoin exchange-traded fund available to US investors.
Fund Structure and Proposed Ticker
The filing, submitted Monday, outlines plans to list the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol GWLD. According to the preliminary prospectus filed with the SEC, the fund would give investors direct exposure to WLD without requiring them to hold the token themselves.

Custody and Administration Partners
BitGo Bank & Trust has been named as custodian for the fund’s WLD holdings. BNY Mellon would take on the role of administrator and transfer agent, while CSC Delaware Trust Company is listed as trustee. The prospectus has not yet detailed the fund’s management fee, seed capital, or the authorized participants and liquidity providers who would support trading.
About the Worldcoin Token
WLD runs on the Ethereum network as an ERC-20 token. It powers World, a project built around biometric identity verification designed to separate human users from bots. The project was founded by OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman.
This filing brings Grayscale’s total crypto ETF offerings to 18, joining existing products tied to Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Dogecoin, and Chainlink.
