Hwasong-20 Missile Range and Design
The museum exhibit, according to defence analyst Shin Jong woo, featured a multiple warhead design alongside a map showing ranges stretching past the US mainland to the Middle East, Australia and South America. Shin described the display as propaganda meant to strengthen Pyongyang’s hand ahead of a possible summit with Washington.
Professor Lim Eul-chul added that converting temporary weapons exhibitions into a permanent museum helps Kim turn his missile buildup into a lasting symbol of the regime’s power.
North Korea Missile Test Amid Trump Asia Trip Plans
Separately, Pyongyang confirmed it test-fired a tactical ballistic missile on Monday, its fourth launch in a month, to verify an upgraded component. South Korea’s military tracked multiple missiles landing off the east coast.
The moves come as US President Donald Trump suggested he could meet Kim during his Asia trip in mid-November for the APEC summit in Shenzhen, China.
