Securitize Opens Its Tokenization Platform to Stellar and Widens Its Multichain Reach

Securitize (SECZ), the firm that turns real world assets like equity and debt into tradable digital tokens, has added Stellar to its list of supported networks. It already operates on Ethereum, Solana and Avalanche, and is widely recognized for issuing and managing BlackRock's BUIDL tokenized money market fund. The announcement was made at Meridian 2026, the Stellar Development Foundation's yearly conference in Lisbon.

Why Stellar Appeals to Asset Issuers

Stellar is described as fast and scalable, and assets built on it can be set up with identity checks, clawback powers and sanctions screening. Those controls matter to regulated issuers. Franklin Templeton already runs a tokenized money market fund there, and MoneyGram uses the network every day to move money. Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said Stellar has grown the fourth largest ecosystem for tokenized real-world assets, which he sees as proof of rising institutional demand.

Tokenization Trend Gains Momentum

More companies are offering or preparing tokenized versions of shares, bonds and commodities that could trade around the clock with few geographic limits. Securitize itself has been active, recently bringing tokenized shares of major tech names to Solana.

Securitize Stock Background

Securitize listed on the New York Stock Exchange in July and put its own shares onchain through Solana and Avalanche at the same time. The stock reached as high as $13.70 on its first trading day. The closing price for Tuesday was left blank in the source text, so it is not included here.
