Securitize Shares Jump Over 8% as Tokenized US Stocks Go Live on Solana
Securitize shares climbed about 8% on Thursday after the company rolled out Securitize Stocks, a product offering eligible investors tokenized versions of Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla and eight other US listed companies. Each token is backed one-for-one by an underlying share and will first trade during extended market hours through Securitize's registered broker dealer platform. Settlement happens in USDC on Solana, with Jump Trading providing liquidity as market maker. The company plans to expand to 24/7 trading, though no timeline has been given.

Tokenized Shares, Investor Rights and Future Uses
The tokens represent security entitlements under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code and preserve shareholder benefits such as dividends and voting rights. Securitize also plans to list them on tokenized securities platforms being built by the New York Stock Exchange and OKXICE, but neither has set a launch date. Ripple Prime plans to support the launch and explore institutional uses, while the lending platform Aave has been named as a possible venue for using the stocks as collateral.
Securitize’s Second Big Rally in One Week
It was the second sharp intraday gain this week. The stock rose nearly 8% on Tuesday after a partnership with South Korean firm LG CNS to explore tokenized funds, equities and stablecoins for financial institutions, including infrastructure linking local firms to global markets. That followed a September agreement with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. Shares have gained roughly 54% over the past month. Tokenized real-world assets excluding stablecoins reached $38.88 billion on Thursday, up from $25.36 billion a year earlier, according to RWA.xyz
