Trump Administration Plans UFO File Release With Pilot Encounter Reports

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing to release long-awaited UFO files containing accounts from military pilots and possible unidentified aerial phenomenon footage. Representative Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, said the first batch of files could begin rolling out as early as Friday.

According to reports, the initial release may include testimony and records connected to encounters experienced by active-duty US pilots. One video could also be included, though dozens of additional recordings requested from the Department of Defense are not expected in the first disclosure phase.

Weekly UFO disclosures expected to continue

Officials familiar with the process said future releases may arrive in weekly installments as part of a broader transparency effort promised by President Donald Trump earlier this year. Trump previously directed federal agencies to review and release information connected to extraterrestrial investigations and unidentified aerial phenomena.

The president recently hinted that upcoming disclosures would contain “very interesting” material. Lawmakers supporting the release argue the process could increase public trust and provide greater clarity surrounding decades of speculation about unexplained aerial encounters.
