Bitcoin Holdings Expand Sharply in July

While Bitcoin holdings remained relatively stable through the second quarter, ending June at just over 9,400 BTC, the company significantly increased its exposure in July. It sold Bitcoin-related securities worth $159.6 million and used the proceeds to acquire more Bitcoin, bringing total holdings including pledged assets to roughly 14,139 BTC by the end of July, valued at approximately $890.5 million.

Company Warns of Risks From Yield Strategies

Trump Media disclosed that it has been using options strategies to manage Bitcoin volatility and generate income, along with lending and other yield-generating arrangements involving portions of its Bitcoin holdings.

The company cautioned that these relatively new strategies carry counterparty credit risk, noting some partners are not rated by major credit agencies and could default during market stress, potentially resulting in loss of assets if arrangements are unsecured. Alongside the treasury overhaul, the company said it plans to direct more resources toward its core media platforms going forward.
