The US military confirmed early Wednesday that its latest round of airstrikes against Iran had concluded, marking the 11th straight night of American attacks in the ongoing conflict.
Latest Strikes Target Military Infrastructure
US Central Command said the strikes, which lasted about 75 minutes, hit Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage sites, and logistics infrastructure. Officials said the goal was to further limit Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, adding that Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels passing through the strait over the past three months.

Combined strikes since then have killed thousands and displaced millions across the region. An Iranian health ministry official said the recent US strikes alone killed 50 civilians and wounded 500 others. US troop deaths in the conflict have climbed to 18 in recent days.
Trump Vows Further Escalation
Following a deadly weekend for American forces, President Trump vowed revenge against Iran on Monday. He had previously threatened to widen the list of targets to include energy plants and bridges, a move that legal experts in the US have warned could violate the Geneva Conventions’ protections for civilian infrastructure and potentially constitute war crimes.
