Crypto Assets and Tokenized Products Expand

WisdomTree reported $2.24 billion in crypto assets by the end of the fourth quarter, down from nearly $3.2 billion at the start of the quarter, yet up from $1.9 billion a year earlier. CEO Jonathan Steinberg highlighted that initiatives once considered experimental such as tokenized assets, private markets, and blockchain-based models are now contributing real momentum, even as the sector remains in early development.

The firm has increasingly embraced blockchain-based fund issuance across networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Optimism, Stellar, and Solana. Its tokenized offerings span U.S. debt money market funds, equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, totaling approximately $780 million in onchain assets. Additionally, WisdomTree’s advisory, licensing, and operational costs for crypto and metals rose to $73.5 million in 2025, reflecting growing institutional adoption.
