Inflows Signal Genuine Demand
The steady rise in ETF buying offers an answer to questions surrounding Bitcoin’s recent rally. After clearing $69,000 on Wednesday and pushing past $72,000 on Thursday, analysts had debated whether the move reflected real institutional demand or was largely driven by short sellers being forced out of losing positions. Two consecutive days of growing inflows suggest institutions are actively buying into the breakout rather than the rally being fueled solely by liquidations.
What Comes Next
Bitcoin traded near $75,500 on Friday, holding onto most of its weekly gains after climbing sharply from below $64,000 just days earlier. Such a rapid rise raises the risk of a pullback once momentum slows. Whether ETF inflows continue into next week will likely determine if this rally has staying power or proves to be a short-term spike.
