Bitcoin has climbed back above its 200-day moving average for the first time in about nine months, a shift that traders often read as an early sign of renewed bullish momentum. Btc touched near $75,000 on Thursday after gaining more than 13% since Wednesday.

What Triggered the Rally
The surge followed news that the US Treasury Department plans to expand its bond buyback program for longer-dated securities, raising the operation size from $2 billion to at least $4 billion starting September 9. The move is designed to boost liquidity in long-term debt markets and initially pulled yields lower, encouraging investors to take on more risk.
Analysts Weigh In
Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick suggested the liquidity boost could help push Bitcoin toward the $100,000 mark by year-end. The last time Bitcoin traded above this key trendline was in November 2025, shortly before it hit an all-time high above $126,000 the following month
