Singapore based stablecoin payments firm Triple-A confirmed that unauthorized access to its treasury wallets resulted in the loss of company owned digital assets, though client funds remained unaffected.

Singapore based stablecoin payments firm Triple-A confirmed that unauthorized access to its treasury wallets resulted in the loss of company owned digital assets, though client funds remained unaffected.
Breach Detection and Response
The company said it detected the unauthorized access on Saturday and temporarily placed certain services into maintenance mode for about three hours while securing affected infrastructure. Triple-A stated that client funds were not at risk because the company does not custody digital assets on behalf of customers, instead keeping client funds in separate trust accounts with safeguarding institutions.
Losses Estimated at Nearly $12 Million
Triple-A did not disclose the exact amount lost or explain how the wallets were compromised. Onchain investigator Specter estimated the losses at approximately $11.8 million. The company said the financial impact was limited to specific operational accounts and would be covered through its treasury reserves.

Services Restored, Investigation Underway
Triple A confirmed all services have been restored, with transactions and settlements processing normally. The company said it is working with cybersecurity specialists, blockchain forensics firms, and authorities, including the Singapore Police Force, to investigate the breach, trace the stolen assets, and support recovery efforts.
