XRP Climbs 2.9% Past $1.14 Before Settling Near $1.11 Amid Heavy Volume

That burst of buying carried price from $1.1356 to $1.1594 within two hours, clearing resistance near $1.14. Sellers then stepped in close to $1.158, pulling XRP back toward $1.146 and breaking a short-term support line at $1.150.

Support Now Being Tested

With the breakout intact but the rally cooling off, traders are watching whether the $1.14 to $1.145 zone can hold as support. A clean hold would keep the short-term setup constructive, while a drop below $1.145 could send price back toward $1.142 and then $1.133.

Backdrop: ETF Inflows Continue, Regulation Stalls

XRP spot ETFs logged a ninth straight week of inflows, pulling in $17.19 million even as broader sentiment stayed cautious. Meanwhile, the CLARITY Act failed to advance as expected after the Senate left for recess without a vote, delaying a potential regulatory catalyst. Data from Santiment showed most XRP holders remain underwater, with 30-day and 365-day MVRV readings near -45% and -47%.

What Comes Next

Resistance sits first at $1.155, then in the $1.17 to $1.20 range. A move above $1.20 would put attention on $1.29 to $1.30. Until XRP clears $1.155 and then $1.17, the current move looks more like a breakout test than a confirmed trend shift.
