XRP climbed more than 3.5% over the past 24 hours, trading near $1.13 as traders watch whether the token can break out of a tightening price pattern that has formed on the short term chart.

XRP traded around $1.13 on Monday, up roughly 4% over 24 hours, according to data. The token moved within a 24 hour range of $1.08 to $1.14, with market capitalization near $70.85 billion and trading volume around $1.27 billion. Price opened near $1.0925 and traded sideways between about $1.09 and $1.11 for several hours before buyers pushed it higher during the morning session, with volume picking up during the breakout attempt.
Bigger Picture Remains Cautious
Despite the short term setup, the daily chart tells a more guarded story. XRP is still trading inside a descending channel that has limited rallies for months, with the 100-day and 200-day moving averages sitting above current price and sloping downward. The $1.24 to $1.28 zone stands out as the major resistance area, aligning with both the channel’s upper boundary and the key moving averages.

Key Levels to Watch
Traders are focused on $1.13 as the immediate breakout level, with a sustained move above it seen as strengthening the bullish case. The next level up sits at $1.14, marking the top of the recent 24-hour range. On the downside, support has held strongest in the $1.02 to $1.06 range, where buyers have stepped in repeatedly in recent weeks.
