Israel Maintains Firm Position on Iran Nuclear Program
In a statement, Netanyahu said there is “complete agreement” between him and Trump regarding the need to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. He pledged that as long as he remains Israel’s prime minister, Iran will not acquire a nuclear bomb.
Netanyahu also highlighted his long-standing opposition to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, saying he has led international efforts against the program for more than three decades.
US-Iran Talks Remain in Focus
The remarks come as reports suggest progress is being made toward a potential understanding between the United States and Iran. While optimism has grown around possible diplomatic developments, Israeli officials continue to emphasize their security concerns regarding Tehran’s nuclear activities.
Netanyahu Repeats Security Warning
Netanyahu argued that continued pressure on Iran remains necessary, claiming that without years of international opposition, Tehran could have already obtained nuclear weapons. He reiterated that preventing such an outcome remains a central objective of Israeli policy.
