Proceeds Fund Dividends and Reserve Growth

Money from the sale went toward funding preferred stock distributions and replenishing the company’s USD reserve, which grew by $650 million to reach $4.65 billion. The move comes as Strategy operates under its updated capital framework, which permits bitcoin sales specifically to support dividend payments, interest obligations, and stock repurchases.

Founder Reaffirms Personal Holding Stance

Company co-founder Michael Saylor recently clarified that his personal bitcoin holdings remain untouched despite the firm’s ongoing sales, emphasizing that his public “never sell” philosophy applies to himself as an individual saver rather than to the publicly traded company. Strategy remains the largest among nearly 200 public companies now holding bitcoin as a treasury asset, though the broader group of bitcoin treasury firms has seen share values decline significantly from last year’s highs.
